More than 50% of households in our district are low-income; opportunities to buy quality materials to use at home are limited. With these donated materials, my students will have the resources to engage in distance learning effectively. Physical materials are essential for a young child's engagement.
During this time, my students need consistency and structure. These materials will help create art, sensory, fine, and gross motor activities that would normally be provided in a classroom setting. With these materials, we can also explore letter sounds and make letter shapes.
Giving parents offline options, which is very important for special needs students, will support student learning outcomes during these uncertain times. Please help me support their learning by donating to this project.
