Our students are living through complicated and stressful times in their lives. For them, the school can be a place of safety, fun, and most importantly, learning. With supplies such as the Lego Set, Brain Games, Operation game, or even candy, we can bring learning and play together for them. We want our students to feel comfortable having a space where they can strive to be the best version of themselves and help them succeed in school and their lives. We plan on using Cricut Explore to create art projects with our students that we can do together. We plan on utilizing the iPad to incorporate an electronic aspect in our work with our students. In our school, the students receive "Tiger Bucks" as a reward for positive behavior in their classrooms. With the help of these supplies, the students will stay motivated and have a desire to make better decisions. The students get extremely excited to receive their Tiger Bucks because it means that they can pick out prizes in our Tiger Store! This is one of the ways we apply PBS, our research-based positive intervention system that increases positive behavior, social competence, and academic performance.
