Over this past summer all of the weed whackers my students used to maintain our 2 acre school farm were stolen. My students need your support in order to keep our farm productive and well maintained. Since we live in such a tropical environment mowing maintenance is key to keeping the farm in a clean, well preserved condition. We must mow our farm on a weekly basis or it will grow out of control very quickly.
We need your help in order to purchase new weed whackers to allow us to keep up with the mowing maintenance of our school farm in Kauai, Hawaii. The maintenance is a daily task and very important part of keeping our farm in working order. By donating to our project you will help teach my students the value or hard work, problem solving skills, critical thinking and hand-on experiences that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom.
By providing this much needed equipment you will be allowing the students to simply focus on their daily tasks instead of trying to procure weed whackers from friends and family for use at our school farm.
I included a security system on the project to ensure that no more equipment is ever stolen from the farm.
