I plan to use the materials to both enhance my students success in the classroom through increased attention to lessons through sensory exploration and heightened alertness. When students have the ability to move their bodies slightly (wiggle, squirm, use their hands to squeeze, etc.) they become ready to focus and learn new skills.
Another top priority for the school year is the safety and security of my students. I am requesting materials to mark social distancing spaces, provide my students with individual learning spaces, and to ensure that each student can move through my classroom and know exactly where to go at all times.
