The materials requested will support academic instruction in the classroom. For example, the teacher will conduct a guided reading lesson and provide individualized self-regulation approaches to support sensory/socio-emotional needs. One student will utilize the weighted lap dog to support sensory needs while sitting. The calming dividers are placed around the activity station to support focus and concentration on the instructor. Another learner will use the marble regulate while to actively listen to the story. Learning outcome: the learner will learn to self regulate during instructional lesson/activities. Self regulation Techniques/ methods are generalized across all content areas of instruction.
