I teach in a low SES community and my students struggle with securing the basic school supplies, notebooks, pencils, etc. Our school was fortunate enough to secure a one to one technology grant through Verizon and furnish each with data card to continue their education. The magazines would be a great way for them to have access to global ventures through reading. I encourage my students to become avid readers and encourage them to travel the world through books. The majority of them have never left their neighborhoods. I want to change that!
