I have never been a technology type person. I have always been an old-school pen and paper teacher of 25+ years. Distance learning has forced me to change my ways. I am asking for an Apple MacBook Pro so I can better support my college-bound students in preparing them for their post-high school career.
I have participated in multiple professional development courses since the spring and this computer would provide me the hardware I need to carryout this training for my 165 students. This computer will allow me to create synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities for my students, while also being able to meet virtually to support them. I will administer virtual lectures, quizzes, and writing assignments to further my students' preparedness for digital learning post-high school.
