Having these laptops will provide access to technology (some of my students may not have at home) for them to use in the classroom and familiarize themselves with the programs as well as learning how to operate and use it. In this age of technology, any interaction that my students have with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn! This will prepare them for the world of technology and as they pass on to each grade level, they will have background knowledge of using a computer.
