COVID-19 has meant anxiety and created space between our students since we went home in March and began online distanced learning. While we cannot continue to sit right next to each other at our tables, I would like to welcome my students back with a beautiful classroom that is functional in our space.
The mats will help students stay comfortable to learn in a variety of positions (sitting, laying on stomach), but also give each student a place to call their own. The lap tables will help students complete assignments and it is also a great place to put our Chromebooks. The surge protectors will help students to maintain distance while also being able to charge devices. I am hoping that these items will allow us to stay safe and also create a calming environment for each student as we continue to live through the COVID-19 Pandemic.
