My Special Education K-2 students learn best when they can access manipulatives and have a quiet learning environment. The materials I chose for my project will help support creating long lasting class materials they can use for letter identification, math and visual schedules that they depend on. I also want to provide noise-muffling headphones that my students can get sensory breaks while at home.
I am a first year SPED teacher in a Title I (majority low-income) school. Our school has been under construction, and COVID has delayed instruction, so many resources are inaccessible to me. I plan to use Teachers Pay Teachers to create materials to deliver to my students homes.
