A lot of students’ work is on the iPad, which can be difficult when trying to write numbers, names, and letters. We want our students to continue practicing their fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination; therefore, the iPad stylus will help strengthen the needed areas of development to master their writing skills! With your donations, we would like to make Break Boxes that consist of various sensory objects for them to play and fidget with when they feel overwhelmed, stressed, or need extra stimulation. Because of the pandemic, we would be sending the Break Boxes home to students; this way, our students can have access to these resources at home and can strengthen their sensory-motor skills and regulate their emotions when they feel overwhelmed! Lastly, the science boards would be used as a learning board for students in which they can place on their home desk/table to focus on their work as well as add their visual daily/weekly schedules, visual expectations, choice boards, etc. Help us provide our students with the sensory tools they need to succeed at home!
