The students are intrigued by a myriad of topics and the best way to explore is in books!! Since COVID 19 students are not permitted to have independent books in their desks BUT If they have individual storage they will be able to read about and explore in books on their own independent reading level. Reading books on independent levels about different topics is so important for second graders- it gets them loving books and love reading! Using baggies will give students the opportunity to read books on their level making them confident readers.
