I believe having an organized room helps students feel more calm and focused on their school work and less worried about the mess around them. With these materials, I can give my students a sense of functionality and organization.
Nearly all students from low‑income households have other underlying issues at home. With these materials that I have requested, I would feel less stress being put on them throughout the school year. I want to help my students be the best students they can be.
With the storage units I requested, I can have a spot for all of my community supplies such as markers, crayons, glue and scissors. When things are easily accessible, my students will feel more at home.
