All of my students will have access to even more activities by providing supplies during remote online learning. My students come from low income areas, and, in a time like a pandemic, it can be difficult to have access to supplies they would normally have at hand in class.
Providing essential, simple supplies in boxes for my students with disabilities will allow them to engage in more meaningful lessons by participating in live activities together through the computer. These supplies will also give my students the opportunity to continue to build their motor skills and practice routines which will make them feel more as though they are still at school, even in their home setting.
These supply boxes will be essential for the growth of my students' independence, knowledge and functionality skills allowing them to progress forward on their IEP goals.
