With the uncertainty of schools opening back up due to COVID, it is important to keep my students as healthy as possible. To do this, I need to minimize the exposure of healthy students to students feeling ill. Students who have small, non illness related issues will be able take care of these without a trip to the nurses office and risking exposure to a sick student with possible COVID. Issues like, chapped lips, lost a tooth, dry skin and mints (which are a magical cure for many ailments).
I would love to provide each teacher with a box filled with such items. It would also allow the students to be more self sufficient and resolve these small issues on their own.
