Pre-Kindergarten children are inquisitive, hands on, and love to explore. So much of what happens in the pre-k world revolves around these interactive learning experiences. The discovery table is a center that facilitates this very learning experience and is frequented often and with great excitement each year by our little learners. In the wake of the pandemic, utilizing just one discovery table to provide this learning experience is a challenge.
We are faced with the great task of encouraging a child's ability to explore and learn through interactive play while keeping social distancing guidelines in mind - It is our hope to continue to provide our students with this enriching learning experience by creating individual sensory bins.
With your help and funding, we would be able to create one learning sensory bin for each student that could be filled and re-filled with new thematic exploratory items.
