Dyslexic/Dysgraphic students have great ideas but are sometimes unable to get them down on paper. Their struggles with handwriting and spelling make writing very time consuming and labored for them. If they have different tools to help them with this then it makes them more confident and they are less likely to give up. Slant boards, writing tablets, and raised lined paper make it possible for them to produce more readable content. Developing hand strength helps build up those muscles used for writing.
A large percentage of students with Dyslexia have ADHD as well. Wiggle seats will help students be able to move, while still staying focused during the teacher's lessons and independent work.
