These materials will help students learn to read. The magnets and sound phones will assist them in learning to hear and read words. Using the magnets, students will be able to create sight words and other words that may be problematic to their reading skills. The sound phones will allow students to hear themselves speak/read. This will help them increase their fluency and word formation by allowing them to listen to themselves. The writeable boards will assist in our math practice before our lessons in math begin each day. Chair bouncy bands will help my ADHD students and those who fidget a lot in class. I have a few students who like to move their feet a lot and it becomes distracting when they leave their seats. These bands should help them calm themselves. I will be using the reusable write wipes in math to help with student work that is to be temporary. They will be able to write on papers through the plastic so we can reuse them again for other lessons. This helps us save paper and good for the environment.
