These books and supplies will help teach my students skills and procedures for naming their feelings, identifying how to correctly address the feeling and situation, along with providing calm down strategies they can use to help regulate their emotions. These supplies will also give my students a safe and productive place to calm their emotions. Being able to calm down and rejoin the group is a skill that my students are working on daily. The supplies will also be used as incentives for my students to work towards when they have shown that they know how to use the skills that they have learned.
