These materials will provide students with manipulatives and realia to make learning engaging and meaningful. Students are eager to learn and would benefit from having resources to use. Most students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and do not have access or the means to purchase additional materials for projects. Most are English Learners and the use of visuals and manipulatives helps students to master concepts while acquiring academic language. Please help me reach my amazing students because they love to do STEM projects. They are so compassionate and love to help others. I integrate Social Emotional Learning in my lessons and allow students to do projects that allow them to see how science and engineers can positively impact the world, process current events, and learn about empathy through acts of service to help others. I have about 450 students that I serve in my district this year for STEM projects, therefore, your contribution would touch and impact so many lives.
