Students will be able to reflect and sketch at home. Having a place to connect what is happening in their daily lives to the art lessons we are learning will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the materials. From social justice lessons to great at home techniques they’ll be able to reflect and think about their work more deeply! A visual journal holds many things that empower students to learn more deeply. They can write ideas down while planning, reflect on the artist of the week, or even write a poem about their day. It’s multifaceted and really fun to engage in!
