My students are hard-working and are learning how to think critically, problem solve, analyze and evaluate information. It is important that they know how to use those skills in real-life interactions along with learning the content. My students are funny and make me laugh daily. My classroom is decorated from top to bottom in Harry Potter decor. The students love the themed room with all the massive amounts of memorabilia and decorations. They always want to be in my room, because it is like a home to them. My students feel comfortable doing collaborative assignments and actually are really great at stepping out of their comfort zones to teach each other. My kids have improved so much since the beginning of the year and I love seeing them grow into fabulous young people. I create a culture of acceptance, motivation, expectations, kindness, fun engagement, and a place that all students can enjoy.
