As we move forward into what will hopefully be a full year in the classroom, I am looking to fill the class with materials that will enhance our in-person learning experiences. My class focuses on functional academics, learning through play, improving fine-motor skills, increasing independence through simple tasks, and sensory integration. The materials I am asking for donations for will enhance all of these learning opportunities for my students. We start every morning with "morning routine" which consists of following an unpacking schedule, completing puzzles, and sitting for breakfast. Fine-motor activities, puzzles, and adapted books created by the book binding machine will all allow for more opportunities throughout the day for my students to build independent skills.
