Historically, the children were given opportunities to sit on a rug, chair or sensory seat when sitting for whole group activities. Due to Covid-19, we are no longer able to offer our alphabet rug as a choice and some of our students benefit from sitting on something softer rather than in a chair.
My current supply of art materials is insufficient to safely distribute among all of my students. Art is such an important part of children's lives and I do not want to minimize the variety of materials I offer because I cannot safely split up what I currently have. If I had more of what I have I could ensure that my students would all have access to a variety of materials to support their learning as well as give them opportunities to create and have fun!
