I am requesting safety posters for students, arrow stickers, stars stickers and tempera paint. These materials will help me to provide a safe and smart return to school environment.
Our kindergarten through 5th grade students will take part in a "glowing" hand washing activity by applying glow-in-the-dark paint to their hands and practicing utilizing good hand washing techniques. When we turn off the lights we'll be able to "see" where our "glowing" germs we missed are! This is great visual to help students understand good hand washing techniques. The stars and arrows will be used in our hallways to encourage social distancing while moving through our halls and proper flow of traffic. The informational posters will serve as reminders for our emphasis on health and prevention moving into this school year.
Returning to school is going to look and feel different for all of us. These items will help me empower our students to keep themselves and our school community safe.
