I work in a diverse, low-incidence program where most of student's communicate through other means besides words. They use facial expressions, gestures and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). One way they love to participate in readings, greeting their friends (e.g. Goodmorning, Hi) and answering questions is using a pre-recorded button. This allows them to participate in lessons they otherwise would not. Since my classroom is remote, most families and student's don't have access to these resources. I would love to give them a "voice" while they are at home :)
