The Ukulele Project would provide my music students with a ukulele. The ukulele is great instrument for beginners learning music! Students would be able to create and perform rhythms, melodies, and harmonies. These are the three fundamentals of music. The softer strings also make it easier to play than a guitar.
Music programs in schools are vital to the social and emotional development of students. They also promote cultural awareness and a sense of civic service. If could give my students a ukulele, it would greatly enhance my music program.
