To say that this year has been difficult to teach face-to-face would be an understatement. I'm currently teaching as a first year teacher to 23 little ones that need personal resources to help them thrive. I would like my students to have their own set of magnetic letters and white boards to avoid sharing during this time. This will allow them more individual practice time. We are also trying to build a library with relevant books in Spanish and English and funding this project would give them the opportunity to experience reading with hands-on books to practice the concepts of print.
My students live in low income households and have not been exposed that much to books and materials. Please help us reach our goal to find the Fun in Phonics again. Thank you!
