I am a first-year teacher at an inner-city school. I teach middle school students with Special Needs. I am not sure when my students will come back to class but I do know that they need the best opportunity to succeed regardless of Distance Learning or In-Class Learning. The majority of my list is to supply my students with much-needed resources to build their self-esteem and support their learning. Most of my students are from low-income households. I would need pencils, notebooks for the class. I want to give every one of my students their own pair of earbuds for their laptops. It allows them to listen more attentively in class. I teach special education, the fidgets are for my students with anxiety and my autism students. The priciest item on the list is an enlarged keyboard, its for students with physical disabilities. The other item is to decorate my classroom, a superhero theme. Each item will be used either for distance or in-class learning.
You are the superhero my students need at the moment, . I care about my students and I thank you for considering helping out my Super Heroes!
