Over the last couple of months, my students have been studying the Media Balance and the impact of social media on their life. Additionally, we have discussed humane and addictive designs of technology and how we can identify these apps. This topic in these books is full of numerous dialogues for the students to have and create further projects.
Our goal is to examine the role that social media plays in our lives, intentionally and unintentionally, and what other uses has it been used for that we are unaware.
Our goal is to understand the impact of social media on their daily lives. Additionally, we do research on what other ways the data collected from social media may be used and to what means. Lastly, students would complete the social media challenge, much like that in the text, writing about it or creating e-journals to record their reflections.
With your donation, you will help me purchase these amazing novels for my classroom that can be used this year and for many years to come. You will help my students start their journey into media literacy and it’s global connections. Help me with my media challenge to help students see the creative value of reflection and connection of media literacy in the classroom
