I teach at an arts integrated elementary school. The students have many opportunities to be creative in class but lack a creative outlet during their downtime. I would love to be able to provide outdoor instruments for my students to use at recess. By providing an outdoor instrument garden, my students will be able to create and improvise music outside of the classroom setting. Music creation and improvisation can be hard skills to develop at the elementary level. Outdoor instruments will help my students discover the joys of music making.
