These headphones will be used for independent laptop time in the classroom, where students can reinforce the skills and practices that we have been learning about in class. Many of my students in our 1st grade class are still working on their reading skills and fluency. Having headphones for their laptops allows each of them to work on reading fluency at the same time, as we use programs that read aloud to students or provide them with vocal lead instructions that match the level they are at. I want to be able to provide my students with all the opportunities I can to help them be successful in today's world.
