My students need hands on, engaging materials to facilitate their academic and social development. The best way to do this would be through the use of a magnetic easel and math file folder games. The magnetic easel will serve as a center point of my lessons. The easel will be used daily to facilitate student learning. I will use the easel to display the skills we are learning, as well as use it during center rotations with pocket charts. The math games will allow my students to practice their first grade math skills in an engaging, hands on way. These games would be used daily during math rotations and during small groups.
