I work in a title I district with pre-k students who have various disabilities, ranging from mild to severe. My students tend to have difficulty attending to activities. I have been using a green screen during sessions to engage virtually and have found that my students exhibit increased interaction and participation when they control what they see on-screen. I'm very excited about what I am seeing, but green screen is new to me and I have very limited materials to use with it. Teachers Pay Teachers offers several green screen activities to aid in this virtual learning environment.
I continuously create communication boards for children who are non-verbal, as well as adapted books and visuals. Teachers Pay Teachers has been a go-to for my therapy needs as the time demands of my caseload do not always allow me to create as freely as I'd like. My students benefit greatly from the brightly colored activities and visuals/book companions that are tailored to their goals, allowing for the level of differentiation that is required.
