Upon returning to the classroom, after distance learning since March 2020, with the added protection of freestanding sneeze guards, small cohorts of students will be seated facing one another 6 feet apart in groups of 3, while socially distanced 6 feet from other groups, teacher, and paraprofessional. Small group discussions and 1:1 conferencing will be facilitated to assist 12th grade students receiving Specialized Academic Instruction to develop essays, research papers, presentations, and senior portfolios. The freestanding feature and different sizes of the sneeze guards will provide opportunities for various arrangements of seating, tables, and desks to accommodate the Covid-19 health & safety protocols.
