I started a reading journey with my class last year. We voted on books throughout the year and read them together as a class. Watching my students develop a love of reading was incredible. I am so lucky that I am looping with my class this year. We are going to continue to build relationships and our love of reading through novel studies. We will use books in multiple subject areas and have great discussions about them. This novel, Refugee, will be one of the first books we read to start the year!
