At our school, we have the most amazing group of students. Our school is considered a Title I school, meaning that a lot of our students are poverty-stricken. But, that doesn't stop our students from advancing themselves in their learning!
I am requesting math manipulative that will help my students learn these standards at a quicker pace than normal. Giving all of my students an equal opportunity to use these manipulative in my classroom is one of my goals for this coming school year!
I am requesting new math manipulatives for my class. I have seen how much using hands-on manipulative can help students in learning math. My students are in need of items to use for math practice and learning. The base ten activity will help students to learn with a model and example during focus lessons. The manipulatives will encourage my class to learn and participate in math activities.
My students need hands-on opportunities to manipulate and learn addition and subtraction strategies.
I know that by having these new manipulative it will open my students up to a hands-on experience that will help their learning in math!
