Time for Kids is an engaging way to blend current events, and nonfiction stories, into our ELA program. What I like about this magazine is that it talks about things that are happening right now in the real world, which leads to a greater understanding of our world's issues, and thoughtful dialogue between students, all while supporting ELA standards and skills. All students can benefit from this resource.
Time for Kids will be used in my virtual classroom to give all children, regardless of family income, the opportunity and support to master ELA standards and skills based on non-fiction, current event text.
