Having access to a variety of engaging and diverse texts will help my students improve their reading fluency, enhance their vocabulary and develop an interest for learning new things. Offering engaging informational texts that can awaken their curiosity for science, social studies and real world situations will develop their love for reading while learning. Part of our daily routines include a read aloud, independent reading and partner reading. These routines combined with analyzing what has been read will give students the strategies they need to be successful readers and become long-life readers.
