Students with even one disability benefit from gaining skills using technology. Students will be able to use the iPad and accessories to build skills, communicate and expand their access through educational lessons.
Young learners will access applications to learn and build skills and knowledge in many ways. Increasing visual skills and fine motor skills are important foundational developmental steps to understanding their world and how things work. Vibrant colors, adjustable features and the ability to manipulate within applications form connects as young learners interact and respond using an iPad.
More advanced students utilize technology to increase communication, access educational content with accessibility features, and learn to independent skills for life long learning opportunities. Communication between students and teachers accessing class content and research through the use of technology are important skills. Teaching students to access and use accessibility features provides necessary access opportunities. These skills create life skills beyond school for our students success.
