My students are learner's and they want to learn. Daily Activity Journals would help them with their daily practice and give them something physical to work with. Remote learning has transitioned them over to a digital world, but this can't replace the pencil to paper experience they need. Being in primary, it is essential they are given an opportunity to practice writing their letters, sight words, sentences and more. Each of my students would get their own journal as well as a writing center to further their practice at home.
The writing center comes with an alphabet book and demonstrates how to write each letter. On the included magnetic board, they would practice writing the letter. When they are done, they can erase it, and practice the next letter! This reduces the need for paper and engages the students sensory needs.
