These items will allow my students to grow and fine tune their fine motor skills. These activities will be used in our student led Centers time as well as in some one on one teacher guided lessons.
As we know, due to the increase in screen time, many of our youngest learners are coming to school with fine motor skills that are lacking. Fine motor skills are essential in the foundation of learning to write, cut and even perform everyday skills such as tying shoes and getting dressed. The fact that many of these activities will also allow for creative expression is just the cherry on top. These fun activities will keep my students engaged without them even realize they are actually learning!
