Many students at my school come from low-income backgrounds and have very few essential items; some do not even have enough clothing or food. When my students walk into my classroom, I want to ensure they have adequate materials, resources, and a safe space in which to learn each day. Our current classroom lockers are unsafe and dangerous for my students to open.
By donating to my classroom, you will be providing brand new lockers that my students can call their own! My students will be excited to learn that these lockers were purchased just for them- a novelty for students in our area.
Not only will these wooden lockers give each student adequate space for belongings, but it will also allow proper separation for social distancing.
