This project will serve Early Childhood Special Education students with social and emotional development.
My goal is to provide hands on sensory materials to my students that we can use together during distance learning to teach self-regulation and calming skills.
Getting sensory tools like breathing balls, visual calming timers and fidgets into my students hands at home will help me teach them calm down strategies to regulate their emotions. This is a stressful time for students and families. I want to help provide tools to use as coping strategies for students during distance learning and beyond.
