I teach English Language Arts to students in Kindergarten through second grade and I am always looking for different ways to have my students show what they know in this remote setting. I chose the double sided dry erase boards to support students practicing writing their letters and names and responding to teacher prompts and questions, for quick formative assessments, and mindful activities like creative drawings. My students will keep and use the boards at home. This tool will allow my students to have a choice in demonstrating their understanding, thus it will support their academic and social emotional development.
