Our district currently does't have a Social Studies curriculum that is up to date. Our third grade students are at the age where they are asking why things are happening in our world and with Scholastic News, they cover today's events as well as events that have happened "on this date".
I look forward to having this time to answer these open ended questions that these students will have. Scholastic News will also let our students who are at home learning virtual be able to use the online edition which will be great for them to continue their learning about Current Events; they will even be able to do this with their peers who are at school.
