The use of sensory materials is a daily need activity in my classroom, especially for students with autism and sensory processing disorder. Sensory items are used to calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
With these new sensory items, my students will be able to choose from a variety of materials and activities that will allow them to independently determine and meet their sensory needs.
