Our classroom is an open a supportive environment where students feel safe and free to learn using their own style at their own pace. As the classroom teacher, my goal is to foster a culture of independent learning where each student is responsible for acquiring knowledge, tracking their progress, and celebrating their own success as well as the success of their peers. It is also imperative that the students in our classroom work together to make the learning environment a positive and enriching place that makes it possible for each student to achieve to their highest potential. I believe that working together with my students and empowering them to be lifelong learners, not only can I teach them the essentials of the curriculum, I can truly make a difference in their lives.
