Prekindergarten learning using hands on activities, use of imagination while building their emotional and academic confidence.
By using the first introduction many of these students are experiencing, by attending prekindergaten, to encourage a positive school experience to start reducing high school drop out statistics from the beginning of their educational experience. Many times basic needs in a low income environment is very important to contribute to their educational experience and allow for compassion and boosting their self esteem. It also allows these students to focus on the academics and not be discouraged or distracted by meeting their basic needs. It also allows for parents to be involved without feeling excluded due to economic and financial struggles.
These students are excited to learn. The amazing ways they interact within their world is amazing to watch by encouraging imagination and problem solving
