I have seen the benefit of stools in my Kindergarten classroom. Unfortunately, the stools I have are too tall for most of my kids. I like the smaller size that Kaplan offers. I use stools during whole group time as well as at tables. Also, flexible seating helps me space the students apart to keep our social distance. With not being able to share supplies, I laminate our small group or center activities. The lamination allows me to wipe them off between groups of kids. This helps me eliminate germs that might otherwise be spread in the classroom. These center activities give my students much-needed practice.
